grill modification/pics

Anybody cut the center out of thier grill for a full billet insert? Would like to see a write up on how to do that cleanly and any pics someone might have. Thanks.

I started to do this with an old grill I had taken off but it really became one of those, "is this really worth it?" projects and I stopped and went another route.

theres a truck local to me for sale with the full billet one peice.i kinda like the 4 seperate peice billet set-up on these trucks.
i did do a billet one on my old gmc.it came with instructions and hardware.it had four screw's that held it on and was there for many years.mine was from carrage works and was pretty nice quality.i used a cut off wheel to remove the old one.then a dremel and hand file to clean up the rough edge's

I don't see any way to make the four cuts look decent, I would just get an after market unit, This is what I've been thinking about getting for my truck Billet grill Or you can go with the stock grill and Four piece billet insert
