Governer arm travel

I would like to know how far up the plate profile the Gov. arm travels at WOT. And would the distance traveled change with the addition of a GSK? I dont think so but would like to be sure. And am I correct in thinking the plate is only used at WOT? Thanks

Only about a half inch max of the plate is used and the arm only contacts the plate under high load. GSK makes no difference in travel.

GSK makes it move slower... if you have a super tight GSK, it may not travel the whole distance
