Got my parts!!
Well I have changed gears a bit and have settled on putting a five speed in for now rather than a six speed (that will be later). Right now it is saving me a PILE of money.
With that said, I got all of my parts in yesterday. I can't wait until the weekend!!! I will make sure to post pictures as I do the swap.

Well, long awaited and here we are. I now have a standard transmission in my truck!!!! Now my only problem is I need a better clutch, haha. It isn't very hard to slip the stock clutch even without a load on, doh! Everything went very smooth once I drove 2 hours to get flywheel bolts. I only had to try to start it once and everything was even right from the start, no headaches...yet.
I also got a bonus when I bought the parts. The tag on the side of the transmission indicates that it was rebuilt in March of '03 so I can't imagine it even has that many miles on it!
As promised I took a few pictures along the way. I got busy working and missed a lot but I did get a dozen or so. I have not figured out how to post pictures so here is a link to another page I posted them on. Nothing too exciting but let me know what you think.

If I may ask, how much did this cost you? My auto is still going strong, but when it does finally kick the bucket, I'd really like to swap it to a 5 or 6 speed.
I would have bought a standard when I bought my truck, but it was a deal I could not pass up.
