getting more fuel...

I have heard of people changing fuel plates on a 12v to get more fuel/black smoke....but i havent seemed to notice what do you do to a 24v??? I understand you cant just change a "fuel plate" so how do u go about doing it, and what kind of cost would it be?

....i dont really know anything about diesels yet.....any help would be appreciated...

On a 24v you'd be talking about boxes and programmers for fuel/ timing. Also injectors can make a huge difference.

on a 24 valve engine the injection pump in electronicly controlled so the only way to get more fuel is to purchase a chip or programmer the vary in price range depending on what you want to spend

you have to use a programmer such as smarty, or a chip like tst or edge, or use a programmer along with a chip for lots of fueling fun. they basically tell your injection pump to pour the fuel to your engine
