if its the same as my 01, there are 3 screws if i remember right, I had to drop the bumper down a few inches. Once you get the bolts off, the lights should pop out with a little bit of effort.

there are three screws/bolts which hold it to the fender. the piece attached to the fender is the mount only. the headlight & parklight are attached to the mount via adjusting screws.

if you wish to take it off as a whole assembly then remove the bumper cap and save yourself some headaches. be careful removing the cap, it is very easy to break the plastic clips/retainers.

you can probably remove the light housings by popping off the adjustment retaining clips then sliding them out, and then the mount afterwards. this can probably be done without removing the bumper cap as it creates smaller pieces rather than one large object.

why are you removing headlights?

You can remove them without doing anything to the bumper, I have numerous times. There are three screw/bolts that hold them in.

i also installed the clear one piece, they really made a difference in looks and functionality. if you don't have them in yet, i would recommend running a bead of silicone around the edges. . .

i did it for peace of mind, not because i had any problems with leaks. . .

. . . also, get some super glue or other adhesive to attach the dust gaurds to the new headlights before installing.
