gauges
gauges
Can someone tell me what three gauges are the best to install on my truck. I really do only light towing, my truck is basically a daily driver. I have looked into the Isspro gauges and was thinking about the tranny temp, EGT, and Boost. Any feedback would be appreciated.
You really should get all of those PLUS a fuel pressure guage, which is probably the most important as it allows you to monitor lift pump health and fuel filter condition. I realize that you still have warranty, but a FP guage may save you big $ on an injector pump in the future.
If you only want 3 guages I would suggest EGT, Fuel pressure, and Trans Temp. The boost guage is a "nice to have" gauge, when you are at stock h.p. levels

Gauges
The three you mentioned are hte most common set ups. I would suggest a Pyro, Trans Temp. and Fuel pressure as the most critical three gauges for your truck. We use Di-Pricol gauges for the fuel pressure with a range of 0-30psi and the gauge is red lined between 0-5psi which is the danger zone for lift pump pressure.
