Gauges
Gauges
I know this is a topic that is constantly brought up but I need specifics! I hope this isnt a problem if its a repost but heres what I need. I am looking to buy and edge ez and I know I need guages so I'm hoping a little christmas money will get them for me...Now heres what I want:
EGT
BOOST
TRANS TEMP
FUEL PRESSURE.
Now my problem is I want to use a pilar mount but as you guys can see there are four guages there and I have only seen pilars with room for three. Now I know you can get a EGT, and BOOST combined into one but I kinda want my guages to match and those are costly...Do I have any other options? I need some links and manufacturers. Thanks

Re:Guages
Or u can get one of the guage donuts or pods and mount it just under the dash (or on top)....
Probably the top three are Isspro - EV and Marine white face series are real nice, Autometer, and DiPricol. There are a few others such as SPA (digital), VDO, Westach, a Dakota Digital.
I think the most econimical will be the Isspro's....not that they are any less of a guage. Isspro has made guages for the big trucks for many years and they are really good quality. You can order them from the usual places seen on here - Wildcat Diesel, Piers, BD-Power, Genos Garage, TST Products, etc., Source Automotive

I also dont want to drill anything!!!!

What do you mean you dont want to drill anything?? You will not be able to install guages without doing some drilling.

Yes, you will have to take out the old pillar plastic and drill one 1/8" hole or so in the metal pillar and the new pillar plastic to hold it on. It is no big deal and if you ever go back to stock you will never see it.

Yeah thats what I wanted to say. I don't want it to be noticeable if I went back to stock. Does anyone know of a 4 hole pilar? How about a combo EGT/BOOST guage and Trans temp and Fuel pressure that matches.

Re:Guages
Sorry dude I misunderstood you.....I thought you meant that you didnt want to drill your exhaust manifold....
Never seen a 4 gauge pod for the pillar. Wildcat diesel has a 4 guage pod for the dash but you have to cut the dash. No big deal just get anoth dash piece if you want to go back to stock. Check it out...www.wildcatdiesel.com (Rod's Pod)
As well, autometer makes pods that allow you to mount a single guage on behind the steering wheel but still in plain view. Called a steering column pod.

Re:Guages
Scratch that, I guess I was looking only in genos....Is this the right guage that I want for the trans temp? Also are these guages pretty good?
