most off you know that the sec. gen lower I/C boots can rub on the body causing a hole to blow in them (how do I know this
) well I was servicing the trucks last weekend and found 3 of them had this issue and the 01 HO had popped the left one . after calling around I found 1 at the junk yard for $45 ...needed it. dealer parts dep. $135.I think there smoking dope!
but for $50 i got some real nice HD ones from piers.

Why do these boots cost so dang much anyway? I've always wondered about that, but even more so now that I own a turbo Buick. I can get a complete set (5 boots) for my Buick for $40-50. The ones they have for the CTD are outrageous...
The CAC inlet/outlet are an odd size and have to be custom made for this application. A regular 45* transition hump hose won't work.
