My 295s rub with 3rd gen wheels. But, they will bolt right on. I didn't have any trouble with the caps.

The 3rd gen rims have a little less offset than the 2nd gen ones so you might have a problem with rubbing on bigger tires. I just put some Hummer wheels with 315s on my truck and they don't rub at all because the Hummer wheels have a little more offset (about 3/4 inch). The 315s give a little less MPG but look a lot cooler!

i have the alloys off a 3rd gen with 315s and they just barely rub the lower control arms. the easiest way to fix that is to use 3rd gen lower control arms.
