Fuse Tap

Anyone know where to buy the fuse taps like the one that comes with the comp that you can just slide over the fuse to pull power?

Re:Fuse Tap

No it slides over the posts of the fuse and has a male sticking from the top.

Re:Fuse Tap

I saw them at Advance Auto Parts. They slip over the blade of the fuse and the fuse plugs back in and leaves a male terminal sticking out above the fuse.
Re:Fuse Tap

The only way to go is the one pictured. It's fused & doesn't ruin the board by spredding the contacts thus ruining(or requiring repairs)to the fuse board

Re:Fuse Tap

Littelfuse makes a product called "add-a-fuse". Pretty cool item. Piggybacks two fuses above the terminal, one for the original circuit, and one for the additional power tap. Both fuses are above the terminal, and plug in. ATO or mini. Only downside can be clearance.
I have some on order. I think that they are 8) , but that's just my opinion.

Re:Fuse Tap

I think I've seen the Add a Fuse, the one I saw piggy backed the fuse and came off with a wire that had its own fuse spot about 2 inches from the fuse box. Pretty cool except if I remember right they were around $20-$30 (APEACE!). Way to much for adding one fuse!!!
