Fuel System Options

I have read and read and I knew I would face it. I installed my low fuel pressure light today. And of course it comes on under moderate to full acceleration. So I am going replace the LP. Does it matter if it my pump is "intank" or on the block I dont know where mine is cause it was dark when we got done with the light install? Can I order just a walbro or fass pump without the lines? What Holley Pump can I get from Autozone that will work and will that need a relocation kit for that? I need the least amount of downtime as possible and I need to get everything in for this weekend so I can install

Thanks guys.

Can I order these two things and it be ok:
http://www.glacierdieselpower.com/pr...f_id=GSL%2D392
http://www.glacierdieselpower.com/pr...Fid%3D01%2D002

Or do I need to find out where my stock pump is first?

Yes you need to see if you have an in tank pump first but even if you have a stock engine mount carter pump or frame mount pump, you will still need the bypass valve and extra hose and coupler for the return fuel into the filler neck. Honestly the GDP kit is quality and everything is included, you can make it yourself and save a few $$ but for me I wanted to know everything would work correct the first time to avoid down time. Great experience with GDP and fast shipping.

This is what I installed http://www.glacierdieselpower.com/pr...?pf_id=3929852 and worth every penny to me.
Good luck.

Well my mechanic (my dad) only wants to help me with replacing the stock one so he is paying for it. Its on the block and not intank. I told him about all this stuff and what I found last night but if he wants to pay for it I am not going to complain. Thanks guys.

Replacing with a stocker works, but keep a spare handy. For many people the replacement stocker lasts just a few months. This is why I decided to not do stocker replacement, and went to Walbro.

Got it all buttoned up around lunch today. What a pain to get it primed again. It must have drained all the way back to the tank. But once it primed it fired right back with no sputtering or spitting.
