2014 3" Level System Options

I plan to call Carli and Thuren tomorrow, but are there any closely "comparable" 3" coil level systems, with track bar and rear progressive leafs?

I am putting a list together and no "saggy" front end and sloppy mopar shocks on my new truck. But I am a Carli and Thuren believer, but I guess they aren't there yet with the 13/14's?

Just looking/listening to other alternatives for properly leveling the new truck.

TIA ~ Cheers

I'd stick with 2". Looks great and you shouldn't need an adjustable track bar.

But who makes ones for the 14's? I don't want leveling blocks/spacers. I am talking cadillac one ton ride. I'd consider going to a 4" lift/level as it won't interfere with a goose/5th wheel.
I feel lost, but probably not for long.. Talked to my local diesel shop today and he had some good ideas and is formulating 3 options for me. I just love personal experience and maybe I am asking too much on 13/14's as there hasn't been enough history yet. But DTR members seem to have very good insight from all aspects. Thanks gals/guys.

bds makes a 2" level (you said you dont want), a 4" and 6' coil/shock with new relocation brackets for the radius arms.. but says some welding is involved?

pro comp has a kit that is similar but with new radius arms.

it appears that both of these companies are now offering a type of coverage that if the dealership denies any warranty coverage due to their lift they are covering you? or something like that.
IMO not saying these are bad companies but you get what you pay for as you know. If you are wanting the cat's meow. wait till Thuren or Carli.

Just wondering what the problem is with 2" leveling spacers, lots of people have them and like them.

Nothing wrong with them. Different strokes for different folks. It's just cosmetic, cheap way to clear bigger tires, but has no functional performance advantage. But once you have a Carli system (or any good system) you never will go back or want to at least.

That may be one of the truest statements these days. Finding that out in my old age.

I have a 2014 3500 limited to arrive any day. I am putting 20x9 with 4.5 backspace with 35/12.5/20's on. I was looking at installing the BDS 4" 4Link system. I was told the ride with system and fox shocks were great, anyone run this combo?

I'd just wait for Carli or Thuren to come out with their stuff. I know Don has a '14 and I'm pretty sure Carli has their hands on one too. Do it right the first time and enjoy the ride!

That is what I am doing. I decided to just stick some Bilstiens on and a spacer to clear my new tires and rims for now.

Jezzhuntin, what level spacer did you use? I've been researching the 2014's as I'm thinking of finally selling my 03 and upgrading. I have a KORE system on my truck and probably won't be falling for the overpriced kits from KORE, Carli or anyone again, just going the level spacer route this time around. Unless you really offroad your truck (like haul ***, and jump it) I think these kits are a a waste of money.

Also, anyone know anything about a dealer installed Ram specific level spacer? I've heard of people getting their trucks new with them, just wondering if it's a aftermarket that the dealer charges an arm and a leg to install or if it's factory line done. I did my own work on my 03 including the KORE system, but with a toddler at home that I watch almost full time, I got no time to do stuff to the truck anymore!

I haven't installed anything yet, but it is a Daystar kit.

I talked to 2 different Service Mgr's and they both said there is no MOPAR spacer for the 14's. They both said this person was using sales scare tactics. Both said they are installing aftermarket kits. However, they both said it is up to the discretion of the dealer, apparently they (certain dealers) can flag your vin#, once that is done, when a warranty request fix is sent to Chrysler and it is flagged it will probably be denied if said aftermarket part is deemed the cause of failure of another part. But they both said the only things they may not warranty would be shocks and tie rods. No U joints, ball joints, engine, tranny, radio, seats!!!! Again this is just what I was told. I would just check with your dealer before you do anything.

I am going to disagree with your comment on Carli. I have one of their systems on my 03. I notice so many differences too many to list. But here is an example. I have a jet sled (boat), not heavy, but before I installed my rear Carli leafs, when I was towing up a wash board dirt road my truck would start to skip to the left or right, kind of freaks you out when there is a 50' drop off next to you. With the Carli, no skippy, skippy. Just my opinion though.

That's good to know about the dealers and what they will look for/do. If I pull the trigger on a new truck, I'll more than likely leave it stock until the warranty period expires.

On the suspension topic, I bought the KORE set up and haven't been impressed, sometimes it feels as if the ride has gotten worse! And I've kept new bilsteins on the truck always. Who knows, maybe it's the shocks, I doubt it. When you look at what guys really can do with these kits then I'm sure they really have a purpose. But for me, my truck will never need limit straps, and believe me I've offroaded my truck, I just off road my truck like I own it and not like I stole it, four low for this guy and no haulin' *****.
