Fuel return line attached at back of head?

Whats the fuel return line that "T"s into the VP44 return, and comes from the banjo fitting attached at the back of the head? This be on my '99

Thats the return line for your injectors. I believe that on the 24v's it's built into the head unlike the 12v's. Thats how my 24v was.

Yep, it's a fuel return off the back of the head.

And be very careful with the return line.....I can tell you from "experience" that it is extremely fragile if it is factory.

Its a pain in the back side to get at and it leaks half the time. I've replaced the banjo washer on it a few times but its hard to get a good seal. Same goes for the #6 injector adjuster nut. The tee also is prone to leakage as well.

Best thing to do is replace it with a 90deg elbow and run a short hose back to the tee. I hate that banjo bolt because of its location!
