Fuel pressure myth
graphitecumnz and rjohnson : THANK YOU! You just gave me an awesome idea on how to do air separation myself. I think it should be very easy! I will be ordering some (cheap) parts again...

A friend just had this very problem but caught it right way due to having a fuel pressure gauge in the cab. While using the lift pump to empty the tank out (campaign lift pump with Vulcan Big Line kit); the fuel flow was good for the first few gallons. Then you could hear a change in the pump and then for the remainder of the 1/3 tank it pumped fuel and a lot of air causing foamy fuel.
After he dropped the tank and finding nothing wrong inside (very clean). He determined that the factory hose connection at the top of the tank was allowing a small amount of air in and foaming the fuel prior to the pump. After installing the draw straw mod W/ 1/2" inch lines he actually picked up 2 psi to 13-14 and can't pull it below 11 WOT. Using his words.
I have the campaign pump kit and the 1/2" Big Line Kit too but will install the draw straw kit ASAP as well as a full set of gauges. I always keep my tank full and rarely let it get below 3/4 of a tank I usually refill when I have used an 1/8 of a tank. Looks like the Vulcan Draw Straw Kit is the cure for this problem.

It (factory fuel module) is an interesting and complex design. Only need for it that I can see is operating when tank is very low on fuel.
I gained only 1 psi fuel pressure but that's probably due to having a FASS and already having lots of FP.

I found where my air was comming from..
Fixed that Quick,, Just to pull the tank down to find a Brake line Ready To POP
