I have seen installs completed where the gauge is connected to the bottom of the fuel canister and some to the test port. Is one location more accurate than the other? With installing the snubber is there a need for some type of teflon tape or loc-tite to prevent leaking? Can the snubber be installed in series between the braided steel line and electrical connection?
What brand of gauge are you using? I have my autometer elec. right on the filter canister. Been that way for nearly 3 years, and no issues yet. Thats a 0-30psi, and I've been running over 30 psi for the last year, still hanging in there. I have a 0-100psi on my 12v. I think if any will die, it will be that one. 12v/mech lift pump pulses a lot more than the electric lift pumps, as does the injection pumps.
