Fuel (Low) Pressure Light Question

I was thinking a low fuel pressure light would not be a bad idea even if a fuel pressure gauge is used. Gauges are sometimes ignored and not watched closely and sometimes people other than the one paying the bill is at the reins.
Anyone know what parts are needed and how to install one without buying a $50.+ kit ?

I made my own. LED light from Radio Shack a few fittings and a sending unit from NAPA. I don't remeber the part # for the sending unit, but I believe the pressure range was 4-7. My local NAPA had a book with all the different sending units with the specs listed, we just looked throught that until I found what I wanted. I saved the SU box, so I will look and see what the part # was and let you know.

All you need is the NAPA part mentioned above and hook it to your parking brake light for a real inexpensive set up.

LOL, it took me a second to figure that out. I think the LED light from Radio Shack was like 3 or 4 bucks. I drilled a hole (1/4" i think) in my a-pillar pod and mounted it at eye level cause my FP gauge is down by the ashtray. Figured I would see the light first if sumthin went wrong.

oh, the buzzer is hooked to the low OIL pressure sw also.

That was the original intent, added the fuel press as an after thought...
