Front brake replacement
Front brake replacement
Last night on the way back from picking up my new to me quad I had the brakes on the truck smoking. Now I am looking for a brake upgrade on the front of the rig. Thinking of getting slotted rotors, new calipers, new brake lines, the works. Also going to do the 1 ton GM cylinders on the rear. Any place to get a good deal? If so please don't keep a secret. Any and all info greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Tiny

Brembo rotors and Hawk pads from www.tirerack.com are about the best you can do with a price that can't be beat.
Try the cylinder swap first, you may not need to do anything else unless your front end parts are worn and need replacing anyway.

I'm with infidel on the Brembo's from tirerack.com
2 rotors (not slotted) were $149 total shipped to my front door. The Dodge dealer wanted about $240 apiece for each rotor!! Not including installation.
Tirerack had powerslot slotted rotors for my '02 at $113 apiece, but I equate slotted rotors (and drilled ones as well) with high performance cars on a race track or autocross course, so I went with the regular OEM style.
