FP and Boost Gauge

With my fuel pressuere gauge im am running the isolator with it right now but I am desperatly wanting to rid myself of it and mount it in the trash. Without the isolator did you guys run the 1/8" nylon hose to the gauge with the needle valve or did you use the stainless braided hose all the way? I dont trust that isolator. Thanks.

I forgot to post my boost gauge question. My boost gauge is buzzingat me whenever boost is going up whether it is WOT or just a little increase. What do I need to do about this? Also, my boost won't register unless I put a lot on it, then it will register, but if I just ease up to cruise speed it wont read anything? Is this normal? Thanks.

Only use nylon if you are using an isolator. If you ditch the isolator, you'll want to go stainless.

Most people just use the plastic (nylon) tube, but I used 1/8 copper tubbing with a rubber line from the engine to a point on the fender, then copper tubing from the fender to the gauge in the cab (because the engine vibration will crack the copper tubbing). I think a buzzing boost gauge means the gauge is bad, I've heard some Isspro boost gauges had a buzzing problem. Good luck.

some run only plastic all the way to the gauge, some put a piece of vac. hose over it, and some use SS line. it's up to you, what ever your think. It's your truck, But I would use a needle valve and just crack it open a little.

I've been using the small boost type tubing for years on many rigs without one problem. Just push it though some larger tubing to protect against cuts, chafing and kinks.
Braided stainless line has the undesirable trait of sawing though anything it touches, is hard to route in tight places and is a way overkill for a measly 15 psi.

theres lots of wires under the dash I wouldn't want SS braid touching.
