i want to install OEM fogs on my truck in the bumber like stock (did not have originally). 1}Can an OEM pair from say LMC still mount in the bumber like stock? and 2} can the headlight switched be changed to control them or do i have to install a seperate toggle? Thanks in advance

LMC foglights are exact replacments for stock. So i think everything should bolt in like a stock truck.

Wire them up like this using the marker light power wire to activate the relay instead of a switch:

Look behind the bumper and see if there are mounting brackets there (two bolt looking things sticking out.)

The plastic inserts in the bumper have a larger hole for the foglight option. When I ordered my OEM foglights the kit came with new inserts. The hole in the stock inserts may be able to be enlarged to fit.

Only problem with this is; if you need just your parking lamps you'll always get the fog lamps as well.

Another solution would be to connect to both headlight lines using diodes on each to isolate. That way they will turn on with your headlights but you wont cross connect the H/L beams.

Right, When would you "JUST" marker lights? You could always wire it up to the headlight power wire for activation and use the HD relay harness from LMC truck for the headlights.

I have quite often. When checking into an RV park in the evening I leave my markers on while in the office. How about leaving a drive-in before the end of a movie (yes we still have a drive-in in town). Point was, you never know when you'll need just the markers but why remove the option for an "easy" fog light hook-up?
