first pull advise
Re:first pull advise
well I plan to pull sleds during the summer time a few times but I also pull trailers and stiff for our construction business so I need a clutch that is not toooo grabby when backing.

Re:first pull advise
my 13.25 fe is quite grabby when backing up a big trailer, i find it is much easier to just put it in 4wd low and back it up. i really want to do well, but i don't want to spit my clutch out either, i will have to play with it a bit before friday night and see what it feels like. i don't have a 4k rev kit, mine is still stock so i think i may still do the 3rd gear run. just take it a bit easy out of the hole. and see what it will do. mike
Re:first pull advise
I went with South Bend's dual disk street puller. Tested it the other night on the sled and I'm very pleased with it. It is very streetable and you can speed shift the snot out of it. not too jumpy either. 2k out of the whole in 3rd is takin it easy on it.

How many times have you pulled with the SBC Street DD?
I have spoken with two people who fried the Street DD's on there first pull ???
I'm considering a Dual Disk right now for the first of the year...but its a awful BIG investment and I'm not sure I want to make it yet :
but the SBC is competively priced I know. :-
