final head torque today
well im going to torqe the head one more time this morning, finish out my 5" exhaust and see what she has got now. crossing fingers on the head gasket. It has been killing me taking it easy this last week. I will report on the HTT stainless with the ddp3 and 17.5*. even taking it easy that htt souds pretty good. let her rip
man its fast, thats about all i can say. lol. runs great and sounds better. first hard run i did i slipped the timing though. that just about scared the poo outa me. i think i need to ditch the lazer cuts for 191s. i ran a short spurt to about 110 mph and looked down after i let off the go petal and the egts were 1500. anybody wana swap some 191s for some lazer cuts?
no i dont tow anything. i think the 62/65/12 would be a good choise for a some more power while keeping the spooling closer to stock. but truthfully the 62/71/13 stainless spools pretty quick and when i lights it goes from 10# to 55# in the blink of an eye. but now i think i have a nother problem i think i already lost the head gasket.

For the bolt torque sequence, you're suppose to start in the center of the head and work your way out in a spiral pattern.

#140 baby.
Thats what I'm taking mine to for my last re-torque.
1st torque #125
2nd torque #130
3rd torque #135
4th torque #140
Check them at #140 a couple of times.
In between every re-torque is a tank of fuel, right around 500 miles with no more than 15# of boost.

im thinking of just ordering a new head with o-rings cut in and a 5 angle valve job from pure diesel power. not sure if i want to mess around with the old one, plus i dont think anyone around will cut o-rings.
