depends on what you order. my fass hpfp 150 feeds my stock lp. Im not still sure if thats a good way to go or not. If i were to do it again i would get the full system pull the stock lp off, pull the plunger out and put it back
hope that helps.

I ran my airdog around the stock lp. You just pull the lp off, remove the rod, and reinstall it. There are two bolts that hold it on. It will take a 10 mm socket to remove it. I did mine from under the truck. It wasn't very hard to remove, even though I couldn't see it while I was doing it.

Make sure you get the full kit and just bypass the stock pump. And remove it from the block remove the pump plunger then you can reinstall it back on.

If you havent purchased yet check out the AirDog pumps too.

1st off find the problem , it could be fuel lines or hoses , it could be the overflow valve .
Next it would cost less and last longer if you replace the lift pump if needed , the reason not to , could be be if you were going past something like 800 HP , then you need more fuel .
If you spend the money to put in the Fass , and then still have the same symptom , because you did not replace the cause , [ OFV , fuel lines or hoses , ect ] you will not be happy .

I will second fixing the problem first. Worst case you can replace the stock pump for about 25% of the cost of a FASS. Less money, fewer problems, and plenty of fuel for most trucks. I run a FASS in addition to my stock lift pump. I only turn on the FASS when I dyno or race the truck. Maybe once a month for a minute or so.

A SBC fuel pump block off plate can be used to block off the lift pump hole on the 12V Cummins......and its Chrome!

ANY NAPA or Autozone will have these in their bolt on "go-fast" section of the store......

yeah rather than throw more money at it with a FASS I would just bypass the metal lines and run USCG-approved marine fuel hose from the tank to the engine bay. Youll want to bypass the fuel heater since it just leaks anyways, and replace the fuel hose on the return line of the injector pump.
Put the good hose on there you wont have to mess with it for many years.

I get what all you guys are sayin, and a few things im plannin on building the truck.... one day its not going to be street legal i love my toys to much so thats where my money goes.... the lift pump on the motor is new the intank unit is new and all the bango fittings are new with a new check valve..... the problem is somwhere near the lp because i can see a drip every once in a great while..... understand that the truck runs great its just at LOW rpm with no---to small amounts of load.....

i figure FASS will give me better filters.... ( i have company fuel from our transfer tanks at the company station.....who knows wuts in that )

it will give me better FP for later on

and it will stop the slight studder that gets under my skin.

thanks for all the help, i like the idea of a SBC cover..... not to big into chrome but it would be nice to get that mess out of there
