I just bought a EZ module off Ebay,they sent it with instructions and the instructions point out the data link connection on the 98.5 and some 99 trucks have the triangle connection,mine has the 3 pin flat connection.The module has the triangle connector,when you buy these EZ modules new,is there a adapter for the triangle connector to plug into the 3 pin flat connector?The way the instructions read,sounds like I have the right year,because of the mention of the triangle and the 3 pin flat,but they dont mention a adapter.

 

Dresser Dave, I believe that there is an adaptor avialable. I would call Edge Products and talk to the folks there, they have the reputation of being very helpful.
