Don't know what you mean by "cheap"...but mine cost under $400.00 for all the parts, incl. regulator, hoses, clamps. Friend did the welding on the Ext manifold and downpipe.

I would not cut corners on the ext wastegate itself. The Tial brand is top quality and works well...no surging or flapping like I have heard from others.

RJ your pics don't do your setup justice.. It looks much better in person... I guess they were able to include the hole you had in the manifold for the Pyro into the hole for the Gate?? Or did you use another manifold???
Thanks,
Bryan

I needed my truck for daily work use. The Ext W.G. was a winter project. So I purchased an 01 exhaust manifold from a totaled truck to work on welding/planning, etc. at my leasure. It had no hole in it previously.

I suspect a 1-1/2" hole would not cover a pyro port. You could cut a bigger hole and reduce it with a plate for attaching to the flange. I would want it centered equally over both halves of the manifold... and vertical, if possible.

The price of the extra manifold ($100.00) is not included in the "under $400.00 for parts". There is usually one listed for sale, here, or in the TDR classifieds.
