Ok the turbo came out of a 94 cummins and i am using this on a turbo set up for a mustang. I am wondering how the waste gate is adjusted if it can be at all. I only need 10psi out of the turbo any more and i am going to have a Blown bottom end. Any infromation would be helpful.

 

Putting a Dodge turbo in a mustang? That sounds great!! Wuld like to see a pic.<br><br>Sorry, I have a 97, it is adjusted at the diaphram and rod. Hopefully these parts came with your unit. Did you buy it new or used? I just thought I would answer so your thread does not end up on the last page without any responses.<br><br>I'm sure someone with a 94 will respond. Did you try a search under terms like low boost, adjust turbo, turbo diaphram. It seems most of the questions here would be to increase boost. Just read those articles and do the opposite (if I am reading you correctly), you want to decrease or make sure you get no more than 10 psi of boost? Good luck, Kevin

 

You got it right i want to put a cummins turbo on my 5.0....and i only want 10psi for now...I bought it used the guy upgraded to a Hx40 so it is in working order. I havn't done to much searching...I am hoping to use the internal waste gate.<br>thanks
