Exhjaust question

I just baught a 2001 4x4 quad cab long bed with 39'500 miles but it looks like the EX pipe is loose at the muffler ?. I was looking at a after market EX but noticed thay say to use with a proformance module is the module neaded or can I just put in the Ex ?? I was looking at the SS Summit setup is this good or is there a better way to go . I know nothing about diesels but it pulls the race car good.
Thanks for any help Bud

Call Rip Rook at source automotive, he has great exhaust kits, and the price is great to.

His website has his number www.sourceautomotive.biz

you do not need the fueling box in order to upgrade your exhaust. I did my exhaust way before my box. I like to prepare for what is to come. like now, I am saving to get a Goerend tranny before I put in my injectors... Don't like the thought of being stranded too much.

wildcargo,

Fairly typical failure of the system at the muffler, the aluminized stcok systems do that all the time. You don't need any other mods to get the benefit of an exhaust system, whoever told you that was just trying to sell you something. Check our site and you can hear the systems and see what they look like. call us if you have any questions etc.

Find an Exhuast shop close to where you live that does mandrel bending, and run some 3-1/2 from the turbo back, dump it down half way underneath. You don't want to go to far cause you'll scorch the rear end... I paid $100 to have it done...
