I got a 5in chrome tip to put on my truck, but there were no instructions.. I am wandering what I can use to install this so it will look good, but also stay on as I am driving down the road.. Because I am guessing that I just can't slip it over the exhaust pipe and leave it...

 

That's all I did. Mine is outfitted with a bolt to simply tighten down. Been on for 8 months and hasn't moved yet. Some have to be welded but , either way they ain't movin.

 

mine does not have a bolt to tighten down... and I was hopeing to not have to weld it.. but if I have to i have to.

 

Without some slots and a clamp/bolt you will have to weld it.
Take it to a local exhaust shop, they should be abe to do it in 10 minutes for a nominal fee.

 

Whatever you do dont slip it over the stock pipe. Have the stock pipe cut to where the tip looks like you want it and then have them weld it.
