exhaust problem
i want my truck straight pipe but everyone that inspects truck won't pass us so i heard someone made a muffler that would straight pipe my truck so it would look like a muffler but it is straight pipe so does anyone know were i can get one

I don't know of a straight pipe that looks like a muffler.<br><br>I've heard of removing the muffler and gutting it, keeping the outside intact, then reinstalling it.<br><br>Looks like a muffler, must be muffler.<br><br>Or getting a flowthrough muffler, doesn't remove that much sound, but is still a "muffler".<br><br><br>phox

i have a 4" magnaflow-flow through muffler that's pretty quiet. when i temporarily straight pipe my truck, i just throw a 4" piece of auminum duct (easier thant pipe, and was the only thing i could find at the time) in there and vuoala.

I have a straight pipe that looks like a muffler. You may have read a post I made. I will try to get a pic of it and let you see it. I had a muffler shop in town do it for $60. I couldn't get an inspection here in MO either without a muffler. This passes just fine. I will go out and snap a pic and let y'all see it.
