exhaust drone

I have a whinning noise at certain speeds/ rpm's when i push on the go pedal. As soon as i let off it goes away and then right back when I push throttle. Seems to do it ther worst at 50-55 mph. Is this the drone and what can I do about it?It just started doing this. I never noticed it before. Is it normal for it to all of a sudden appear.
Thank you

I didnt read in your signature that you have anything but stock exhaust so I dont think your hearing any drone. I did notice that you removed your silencer ring though. How long ago did you do that? Maybe your just hearing the turbo better.

these engines are pretty loud. you get a lot of resonance from the exhaust downpipe. adding some sound deadener to the cab will make a HUGE difference. I consider it picking up where Dodge left off...

I think it is drone. Wheneverr i step on the go pedal it whines a little. Then as soon as I let off it goes away. Only at certainspeed/rpm's. I deleted the muffler when I did the silencer ring, but have not noticed it until now.
Thanks

Does it only whine when the boost goes up?

I think i know what you are talking about, is it when your truck gets in overdrive and the engine does get much louder and your boost builds up.

No it's not when boost builds up. If i am in drive and coasting with no throttle, Then I give it throttle this hum,whine/Wha,wha noise from about 30 miles an hour to 52 then stops. It is the loudest from 50-52 mph.As soon as i let off the throttle it stops and then when i apply even the slightest throttle, it will do it again.
Any ideas
