exhaust 4'' or 5''
what is the best size exhaust to go with 4,5 or 6'' ? I plan on doing some basic upgrades first exhaust and intake. I have a 2000 4x4 TD.

I have heard that 4" is fine, up to 700 hp. I don't think you can do 6" all the way to the front, because of clearance probs between the frame and bell hosing.
5" is a happy medium.

Shutup HOHN
Stop rubbing it in my face, HOHN...I KNEW when I bought my exhaust I should have went 5"...now I'm gonna get hosed the second time around when I sell my 4" to my buddy.
It's a good thing he'll get the enjoyment of helping me build a set of twins, AND help me install 5" exhaust, AND help me do anything else needed on the truck, AND on top of all that, he'll get a good deal on a slightly used 4" exhaust.
Ain't I a nice guy ,
