Excessive smoke

Project Brian is a 1998.5, 24valve that was upgraded big time for a marine in Afganastan about two years ago. Chuck and his crew at Truck Transmission and Turbo in Colorado added an ATS 5 star TC, Aurora 3000, edge juice with CTS, ATS intake and exhaust. All of these parts were donated. It was a great project for a deployed Marine. The truck ran great, to say the least. During a road trip back to CO the truck began to smoke really badly and the mpg's fell way off. An OBD scan shows no codes. It seems to take for ever to get to 10psi with this turbo. At WOT I get 33PSI. All the low boost fuel is off for now. I need to know where to start with this. Thanks in advance of all the help.

first thing i would look at is the waste gate it might be open if not that it might be a false IAT reading and what kind of fuel pump do you have? i would sugest airdog or fass. what programe (setting) on the edge are you using and does it idle fine and does it do this on every setting on the programer. what color is the smoke

The truck has a stock lift pump with a carter near the tank. 20psi at idle. 11psi at WOT. The smoke is all black Tuner settings do it have much impact. Thanks again for your help. The turbo does not have a waste gate on it.

Check your intercooler boots for leaks . second gens can rub ahole on the lower intercooler boots at the fenders black smoke is a sign of not getting air

I did tighten all of the boot clamps. I felt each of the boots and could not feel any holes. Believe it or not, I never thought of a mouse in the intake. Remember, it started to smoke on a road trip. It bogs so bad I can not get the tires to spin while applying light brake pedal pressure. Does any one know how to pressure test the intercooler while it is in the truck?

I used a 3" pvc pipe and plug at the turbo and the intake and plumbed in a air source and gauge , also have you unpluged the edge and set it to stock to see if its the box
