I hear ya!! I've been through the bank teller several times and if it's a nice day where you can drive with the windows down, I'll shut mine off. But the last few weeks it's been 95's and up with 300% humidity...windows up, AC on and I ain't sweatin my yams off waiting at the window on a friday in the city. It's fun though when I'm done and I ease through the lane and give it a little kick so I can hear that straight pipe roar under the roof!!

Do you ever see signs that say "NO ENGINE BRAKING ALLOWED, $500 FINE"? It was because guys with engine brakes used them where they disturbed people. Unless you want to park & walk into the bank because there is a new sign that says "NO DIESELS ALLOWED" I suggest you be more considerate of others.

Well, true...but even before it had the outlaw pipe on it I'd sit at the bank sweating my jibblies off being considerate cause my engine rattles to loud for some of the folks. I sweat my jibblies off all day in a shop with no ventilation, so on fridays when we go out to lunch we don't want to ride around in heavy traffic with the temps around 100 degrees so we can be considerate. Now, the whole goose the pedal thing, yeah, that's dumb....and it don't happen constantly. I usually try and ease out as quietly as possible. But as far as sacrificing my jibblies to make some people happy, I'm sorry. The tellers at the bank know I shut it off most of the time and probably understand why I don't shut it off at other times. So if the sign says no diesels, then they'll have to put up signs that say, "no bump/thumping radios in drive thru" cause I here that poo-poo all the time and they can just turn down the radio....
