OK the ez and the comp boxs ect., a 2000 model box won't work on a 01 truck will??

If I remember right I think the computers are different but I wasn't real sure.

 

98-00 and 01-02 are interchangeable but the map voltage is different in the 98-00 and 01-02 boxes

 

Would that make a difference in power and what is needed to swap years??

 

Generally its the map sensor connector thats different. When dealing with 00-01 models there aren't any connectors available to interchange (that I know of). 01-02 will swap with a map sensor connector (edge model #Map2002).
