It's a big difference over the banks ottomind. I can make cars dissapear on 5x5. I can see myself getting in alot of trouble now.
I have my max egt shut off at 1250 and can get there pretty quick. Is that a good temp or can I raise it. What is the hottest you can get a stock turbo for a short period and not damage it??
My boost is also not as high as it was with the banks. I used to get around 34 to 36 psi when I was getting into it. It seems that I hit my egt limit before I can get my boost up. I am still getting 28 to 30. Mabye more but I have not had enough time to drive it.
What do you think is the best way to get my egt's down and my boost up?

No, it doesnt make enough smoke for me. I just usually drive on one and sometimes on three. Only when some fool needs adjusting do i put it on 5. Probably cause I hate fuel prices and I am always saying to myself "Your VP Your VP its going to die." I think over worry about somestuff.

have you messed with your boost limit? however, the highest ive gone is 31, maybe 32 psi, so we may be in the same boat. however, i have never stayed on full throttle for very long at any one time. that may contribute.

I can hit 31 in level 3 and up. I was in Level 6 when I pegged 34 and it was from a rolling start. Never have figured out why it is, but I seem to hit higher boost numbers when I have to get on it to pass some idiot or sunday driver.

I finially got out today and I can pretty much run full out on level 3 with minimal egt problems. Level 4 I have to let up on the right foot some and level 5 I have to let up on the right foot alot and my fuel pressure goes to 4 and sounds the alarm. On 3 and 4 my fuel pressure drops to 5 to 7. I think level 6 will be pretty much useless in my truck until I upgrade my fuel and get a bigger turbo....

I went out to show off to a buddy who has a powerstroke
and ended up at 37 psi in 4th gear around 3100 rpm but i had to stop because he was ruining my dash from his finger grooves. I am very impressed with this unit but I think I am going to put in edge's stage 2 or 3 injectors for a bit more smoke

the egt hit the 1300 mark, the truck is a 1998.5 2500 5 speed extended cab long box other than the juice it is stock (except for the "Bling Bling" like the stainless stell box rail caps, wilson antennas, air horn, back rack, etc.)
