Edge Juice question?

Does anyone know how high the boost gauge on the Attitude display will go? It reads boost through the map sensor, but I do not know high much boost it can read. Has anyone already researched this?

Rodney, I just searched through the forum and I can't find nothing. I know Pete is still running his Juice w/ Attitude with his new BD twins but I doubt he has internet access right now since we haven't heard from him. Maybe he can give us some input on it. The only thing I know to do is adjust the boost warning alarm on the Attitude monitor to see how high of a number you can get it to go to.

The highest setting for an alert on mine is 45 PSI. I do not know if it will read higher than that though. But, with a stock turbo, that is really plenty of reading IMO.

Thanks for your input guys. If 45 is as high as the alarm will go then that helps me a lot. My truck is in the shop right now so I can not mess with it. I will try and contact Edge again to get a more solid answer. When I do I will post the results.

I am afraid so................studdin and orings right now.

I will spend all my money making it so fast that when it breaks I can't afford to fx it. Not to mention the wife is a little with me right now.

You know what they say. It is easier to ask for forgiveness than permission.

I had a feeling that is what it was all about Dang you and Keegan are going to leave me running a single while yall got twins. I'm trying to work a deal on a HTT 64/65/14 right now, I think that will keep me happy for awhile.

I got a good deal on some 12mm ARP studs a while back which reminds me I better send him that check

You got to keep her happy thats for sure! Might have to trade off and get her something new and shiny. Cause I suspect NOS or Water/Meth will come in to play sometime as well.

Yeah it seems as though I will be gettin together with Phil pretty soon as well to button up the tranny a bit more. You know how it is, upgrading one thing leads to another. It sure is fun though.

Well Edge says that the Attitude display will read up to 99 psi. However the factory installed map sensor will only read up 42 psi. Edge said that the map sensor can be upgraded with an aftermarket one that will read the higher boost numbers associated with twins.

At least this is what Edge says.....

That could get expensive, why not just purchase a single boost gauge and mount it on the steering column of the truck. The mount would be $30 and another $50 for the gauge with stuff to install it. Then I would just set another parameter on the Attitude monitor to take up the space where you had boost displaying.

You're right. I was just looking into my options right now. I will probably replace the Juice with an Adrenaline in due time. Still just throwing ideas around.......

The factroy MAP sensor will read pressures up to 60psi.

Now, the ECM may not relay that much info, but the sensor is capable of that reading.

It seems to me I have seen 50psi on my attitude before. But I usually watch the round gauges when boost climbs past 60psi.

It would require more changing but the best setup will be gauges and either a TST PM3 Comp or an Edge Drag Comp, both worke awesome with the Smarty. Olee will probably agree, I called him today............had my phone in my pocket and I somehow hit his number off my phone book
