edge juice with attitude level 1
edge juice with attitude level 1
hey are you guys runin you juice with attitude on level 1 (mileage) with gas prices so high? do you notice a differnce? is it really helpin out with getting better mileage or does it just give ya a lil more power and still leave ya with the mileage you get when its stock?
I usaully run mine on level one and can manage 24mpg straight highway or around 20 combined being very easy on the skinny pedal. I bought this truck from my dad and when he owned it bone stock he could get only 22mpg out of it(and he really drives like an old man). So I think the injectors, Edge, intake and exhaust do help in MPG's.

IF you figure mileage just using the overhead readout, 5x5 or 6x5 HOT will display the best mileage. This is due to fuel being injected that the ecm in unaware of.
The only way to accurately calculate mileage is by hand, fill up to the overflow hole, reset odometer, fill back up the overflow hole and divide mileage by gallons. Also, your odometer must be accurate as well.
Best way to test the odometer is to drive down a fairly straight freeway and reset odometer when you pass a mile marker. After ten mile markers check odometer. Every tenth equals 1% off. If it reads slow, 9.7 miles per 10 traveled, you need to divide total by 0.97 to get an accurate mpg calculation.
Multiplying by 1.03 is a close approximation but not perfectly accurate.
FYI 265/75/16 tires are about 3% off, 285/75/16 tires are about 7% off, 315/75/16 tires are about 11% off. HOWEVER, these percentages are based on stock tire calibration. If your truck was reflashed at dealer for bigger tires, or programmer used for tire calibration, these percentages will not be accurate.
