Aside from beefing up my tranny with some Goerend parts is there anything else I should do before getting an Edge Juice? FASS, Bluechip VP44, ect.? I need some gauges and for a couple of bucks more I can get all the gauges I want with the attitude monitor. Truck has 89,000 miles. Thanks.

 

Upgrade your fuel system. I put a edge juice w/attitude in my truck, it was my second mod. The first one was a shift kit. The third one was a fuel pump and an education on fuel pressure. Fuel pressure lies, it will read pressure even if the pump is pumping air. I was lucky and the dealer put my new VP44 in under warranty. Then I fixed the air leak by replacing the sending unit. You will love the edge juice.

 

I would do the FASS first. Once you get the Edge it's going to be tough to stay out of the upper power levels and those can be rough on a stock fuel supply. Eric

 

I guess a fass system would probably be the safest route. Is it ok to just get a pump (no filters) or do the filtered systems really make that much more of a difference?
