Edge EZ and Boost

I'm running the EZ WITH the boost elbow. Is there any way to get the EZ to kick in below 10 psi of boost? Once I hit 10 psi, the EZ is very apparent, but I want something that will kick in almost instantly.

I've heard that the Van Aken has a better bottom end than the ez. You ever figure out that stumble? Hope the 275's are working alright for ya.

My Van Aaken is noticable from the get go. I don't know if you have an intake but my Bhaf helped bring boost much quicker, evn over the K/n w/cutout box.

Sorry, see now that you have a Quad intake.

Tyler, the 275's fixed the stumble. The old injectors didn't look too bad, but I guess they were worn out. Probably see you Sunday.......

Unless someone wants to trade their VA or Smarty even for the EZ, I need to figure out something else.

The Quad box does make it spool much faster, but not fast enough. It hits de-fuel so fast, I just barely get started and have to shift to 3rd.

Trust me, you would not be happy if it did kick in earlier!
Set on High, you would have lots of fuel with no air, and a lot more smoke than you are getting now! Your already getting 67% (i think) added fueling at 0 boost. Any more would not do anything for you, IMO.

The smarty ECM Programer will give you more responsiveness at low boost, with actually less smoke than the EZ. (this based on my expirience with the MAD ECM). AND, no defueling!

I don't know how Marco does it, but he's very clever!

Wait till I get mine and your welcome to try it and see for yourself!

Nick,
YES! There are basically 4 different settings... each of which comes w/ or w/o timing (see #2 thru #9 below).
If your box already adds timing (like your Comp), you go with the non timing setting of your choice!
SW# 0 : Half power .
SW# 1 : Fuel Saver
SW# 2 : Only Fuel and Boost
SW# 3 : Like # 2 + timing
SW# 4 : “Soft” CaTCHER
SW# 5 : Like # 4 + Timing
SW# 6 : Mild CaTCHER
SW# 7 : Like # 6 + Timing
SW# 8 : CaTCHER no timing
SW # 9 : CaTCHER with Timing

So you would want either #2, #4, #6, or #8.
#0 & #1 are ecomomy setting for those that want them.
