Question edge comp, mpg better or worse

hi guys, got a used comp a few weeks ago.pierced the wire and seems to be pretty good.question is,what is the best setting to be on for fuel economy?lower settings, high subsettings or the oposite???i have 130hpxxx injectors too.fuel pump upgrade is planned for this summer.with the comp on 5/5 i can get the fuel presure down to 5psi,without the comp on at all it only goes to 9psi wot.the comp must really suck the fuel.thanx

Been wondering the same thing.I noticed that my truck seems to use more fuel towing with the comp than it did before I tapped the wire. But that is just looking at the fuel gauge, not real numbers. It pulls a little harder than it did like a EZ though.Still driving it easy though(stock clutch).Any body else notice a difference in mileage between the EZ and comp? And as duallydave asked, what is the best setting for optimum mileage?

So far I've gotten better mileage with my comp on 5x5 (no wire) than I have with it off. I'm sitting at 285 miles on half a tank and that's with an average speed of 80-90mph and several races up to 105.

With the wire tapped, and comp on 5x5, I have noticed a slight increase in milage. I have yet to keep my foot off the go pedal, so I can't give you any real numbers. I've been towing for work, so that isn't gonna help any. But what I have noticed is when I really rag on it, my milage went from 12.5 to 13.4, and that is ***** to the walls driving . One of these days, I'm gonna go easy on it and actually see what kinda milage I can get, but until then, look out for the smoke!!
