My question is.........where is the injection pump on a 98.5 dodge 24v motor??? Cant tell what its pointing to with the edge instructions.

 

If you follow the fuel line from the filter canister toward the front of the truck, they end at the injection pump.

 

drivers or passengers side of the engine?? do I need to take anything off to get to it????

 

Driver side. You need to pull the throttle assembly off. 3 13mm bolts and that's it.

 

Dont take this the wrong way, but it sounds like your not the most mechanically inclined ( I know that sounds harsh, but hear me out) I have been working on/with cars and light trucks for many years now and tapping the wire still made me a little uneasy. There is a cover made by bluechip diesel that replaces your stock vp cover and makes tapping the wire very simple and clean. I bought one and i have to say its the best $49 I have spent in a while. I think this may be a good option for you to look into. I had mine in 2 days.
