Im wanting to install an edge comp on my 99 CTD, How hard is it to install??? anyone know of any write-ups on the install. I am mostly worried about tapping the pump wire. is it that confusing???? please help me!!!!

 

everything is super simple. What you want to do though to make the wire tap clean and easy is pick up the vp44 cover from Bluechip Diesel I just put one on my truck and tapping the wire was so simple and clean...took about 15 min.

na...You cant really see anything because the throttle assy is back on. All you have to do is take the 3 13mm bolt out that hot the throttle (apps) assy on. Dont disconnct any of that just move it around as needed. Remove the old plate, install the BC plate and once its tight there is a stud that you tighten down (3.5 turns after you feel resistance) after you turn that in the coreect are is pieced. You then just hook your comp wire to the stud with the supplied connector and tighten down the nut that holds it on. Replce the throttle assy and 3 13mm bolts. then get ready to turn your knuckles white and rear bumper black
