Edge comp boost elbow?

I just installed my edge comp and all was easy except the boost elbow, the directions say that the stock elbow is on the hose at the bottom of the turbo but mine has the hard line, can i still use the elbow or do i need a j-hook?

Elbow

You cant use the elbow you have the hy35. I have seen the people on here with the turnbuckles, do a seach. What is you boost pressure? I Have the juice with the attitude and can hit 32 psi with no turnbuckle.

My gauges are not in yet, and i didn't tap the pump wire because of that reason, I saw the bully dog j-hook at a local diesel shop, that will work won't it?

Comp

I would say yes, but I would wait to get gauges befor doing anything else. Fuel Pressure, pyro, tranny temp, and boost. I'm not exactly sure if the comp makes the same boost pressure difference as mine did.

I have the edge comp on my 01CTD. I didnt try the comp with the stock boost elbow but with the elbow that comes with it I get 34-35 psi from the HX35. It might vary between auto and manual trannys on whether or not you can use the elbow.

Yes you have the hx35, he has the hy35, the hy has a hardline not the hose with the elbow. You will run higher psi than him because you have the bigger turbo. In 01 the autos came with the hy35 and, the Standards came with the hx35.

My bad didnt see the thing about the valve body which would have told me that he had an auto tranny and has a different turbo.
