Talking Edge Comp is in!

My Edge 3 Light took the big dirt nap about a month ago . I finally found a used Comp for the right price (thanks eBay) and it arrived last night. All I can say is I am impressed ! I mounted the Comp under my aftermarket stereo in the kit pocket. The install turned out quite well. I will get some picks up in the photo section later tonight (pending approval). Now all I need to do is address the fuel supply. I am thinking about the Scotty smart fuel system or building my own. I want to move the pump back to the tank, do a bottom feed supply and eliminate the banjo bolts. The only thing I need to figure out is will 3/8" be big enough. I can buy all the stuff I need for 3/8" for under a $110.00. If I go 1/2" the Scotty system with extra hose and bottom feed will probably be the way to go. I have a good idea for a skid plate for the tank fitting and supply line. I will start fabricating it this weekend. Decisions decisions .

Congrats on the comp!!.......they way to go, IMO..........3/8" fuel line is suitable for about 125 gph of flow which is sufficient fueling for easily 500hp.........If you are planning on over 500hp in the future, go with 1/2".........

I just put some picks in my gallery of the mount. If anyone is interested in doing the same the kit is a Metra part number 99-6000. Just cut out the top of the pocket, from the back side of the can mount lip the same size as the chip. The best way to do this is, position the chip on the top of the pocket (flush with back side of kit) and scribe a mark around the chip. I then used a utility knife to cut the plastic out. Then cut a notch in the rear of the pocket for the wire harness. Then press the chip into the cut out and install the radio mounting sleeve into the kit. The sleeve will hold the chip in place, it's a tight fit. I should have taken some pictures during the process but it didn't even cross my mind . If anyone is interested in doing this I can build another one with the old chip and take some picks. Just let me know.

I am going to start the fuel system on the weekend. If I can remember I will take picks as I go. I will also report my findings on the before and after pressure as well.
