edge comp 40hp explain plz.

I am installing a edge comp, and I don't intend to tap the pump wire. On the website it says it's a 40-120 hp box. How is that so? If you install it like the ez wouldn't that be 65 hp so I do you get 40????

Untapped it gives you between 40-65 depending on how you program the sub menu. 1x5 gives 65 1x1 gives 40. At least that's how I understood it.
