Has anyone had any problems with edge comp malfuntion problems? The other day I was pulling a light load and once I got on the highway, my truck started cutting out and it starting surging and cutting out boost and cutting out fuel. I took it off and have had no problems. Does this sound familiar?

 

Yeah, sounds about right. Once I was driving down the highway like you where and it was like someone had put a rag into my intake.. I could only do about 25 MPH with it to the boards. Once I pulled my Edge out it was back to normal... That was about 30,000 miles ago..

 

Call Edge. Same thing happened here and it turned out to be a loose solder joint. The unit was shipped to them and they shipped it back fixed.

 

I have had the same experience in the past. One time I had to connect a better ground (left fender near the battery, already has one small ground from the battery screwed to it) and one time I had to send the box back for repair. After several years in service they fixed it free.
