just installed the edge comp on ez mode not very happy with it my banks big hoss feels stronger. is anybody running this and what's your boost im only getting 19.5 ? does the comp box have a boost fooler. i have not tap the pump yet my trans is stock and intank lift pump kind of scared
the edge feels slower than the banks why is that

On a 24 valve you will need either a boost elbow or a J hook depending on whether you have an auto or a manual. The wastegate is not electronic and is set a 20#. You should be able to get at least 30# once you correct the wastegate issues.

I just drove my truck yesterday, not my daily driver, and stomped on the skinny pedal. I was looking at the boost levels. I was getting 35 - 38 lbs. Yes, I have it in full comp mode. elbow in place, tapped wire etc. Put a silly grin on my face.

 

Tap the pump wire but don't turn it above 3 until you put a good lift pump on and it will make the banks feel slow.

 

like the above posters said you need the boost elbow, I could get 40#'s on my stock turbo with the comp on 5x5, when I upgraded to the drag comp it pulled even more, in case you want to go that route eventually

also watch fuel pressure, it will drain your IP dry if you aren't careful.

 

how safe is to tap the pump i replace the injection pump in jan of 08
i have used the 120 hp quadzilla box ran it for two days just trying it out and the trans never slipped will tranny slipped with the comp box
looking into the j hook will it throw an overboost code looking for 25-28 boost

single stack what did u have on the 01?
