will a 2001/2002 edge comp work in my 2000 if not what will i have to do. It says on the back 2001/2002 ECD2000A/B

2001 and 2002 each after a different plug on the map sensor as i recall. Contact edge to see if they do an adapter for earlier years.

 

MAP sensor operates in a different voltage range in 01 and 02 compared to 98.5 and 99......that is why there are different part #'s......the boxes will not interchange....

 

ok well called edge today to find out that the comp that i got will not work on my truck so what do i do now i NEED HELP i got a good deal on this and do not want to sell the comp. the comp is for a 2001/2002 and my truck is a 2000

Sell either the comp or the truck or write it off as a loss.

 

2500, I'd be interested in the COMP if you do sell it, if the price is right. Are 2001/2002 COMPs the same? do they interchange?

 

yeah the chip will work on either a 01 or 02 truck. If I do sell the chip I want 500.00 even shipped. The chip is brand new
