i got to share this with all. i recently installed this box and it makes huge gains!!

the hillarious part of it is the look on peoples faces and their driving responses when they drive through the soot cloud. it seems like they get mad at me.(LOL). especially the folks in the tiny convertibles with their tops down. folks on motorcycles too get somewhat annoyed.

fellow diesel operators (fords, chevys and dodges) look on in, i believe, jealousy.

i try to limit the amount of people i bother. i do look around before i lay into the throttle. i'm sure that there is somesort of traffic infraction related to this.

besides all the smoke the performance is outstanding. i'm getting boost #'s in the 39lb. area. i'm thinking its higher because the needle gets slammed there.

 

The smoke show can be a double edge sword...

No, my 99 was bombed but I'm still trying to decide what to do to my 01 which is stock. I want around 100 hp and the ability to drive it hard without much smoke.

The linked thread above is exactly what I was talking about.

I was nailed by the mobile smog station in my Wagoneer a few years ago, the 401 had a bad valve and HC's were through the roof.

Those bassturds were set up in the same location last week (610 South, eastbound entrance to 288 South) and I idled by in my 01 which is actually smoking quite a bit now. I don't want a record with the state as a "gross polluter", it's a pain in the butt.

 

When is it fun to smoke someone?

When you finally get to pass that slow bicycle on a narrow road!

My philosophy is that I would like to 'share the road' with bicycles too. Unfortunately for them, my side of the road is filled with smoke. (See the video in my sig for more info)
