I think he meant if it was ok to tow w/ a reground plate.
Yes, it's fine as long as you have a pyro gauge. It will also depend on what plate profile you grind, how fast you EGT's go psycho. W/ that said, my 100 plate unloaded never goes past 1225*.

 

Sorry, Yeah, I meant towing. I have a pyro already. Prob with a *0 set in the middle and an eye on the pyro when towing... especially hills "should" be ok right? I don't want to always be backing out of it every little bit because of egt. Can I make a 100 plate out of a stocker or do you have to start with a 10? (From my understanding anyways). I would prob use a die grinder to cut a plate if/ when I do.

 

You can make a #100 out of a stock plate without problems. I went the "harder" route for a #100 plate. I got a chunk of A2 tool steel, cut the profile with a carbide blade, polished it, tapped it to bolt up to the stock bracket and then had it furnace hardend. A2 tool steel - $1, furnace hardening - $5, smile on my face - priceless . A lot more work, but I still have the stock profile plate if I ever want/need to bolt it back to gether stock (like that will ever happen). Trust me, the governor arm will wear before the fuel plate will.

 

Well, I ground my stock plate into a 100 tonight.... wow!!!!!
