I've heard you shouldn't lift 2nd gen's very high because of this or that or the other. I installed 2" leveling springs from skyjacker, bilstein 5100's, increased tire and wheel size and I get complements everywhere I go, and most people think I lifted it. I did all the work myself and even that costed more than I estimated because I needed to get an adjustable track bar ( Track Bar Kit - Dodge 1994-2002 2500/3500 4wd & 1994-2001 1500 4wd USD$ 470.25 ). Also, fuel mileage went down a tad.

Mine isn't a dually, but the rear end will be cakewalk compared to the work you will have to do to the front. Take a look at the condition of all the rubber, steering stabilizer, ball joints, bolts, etc. BTW, get good jackstands, you will be hammering pretty hard on the truck while it's in the air to get it apart. Buy the quality parts, you won't be disappointed. Cheers!
